Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist - Walden Environmental Engineering

To help manage that growth, we need an experienced accounts payable specialist to help our busy accounting department. Continued opportunities for growth require that we add this professional to our staff in our headquarters office in Oyster Bay, LI.

From improving air and water quality to enhancing energy efficiency, we work on a wide range of civil engineering and environmental consulting projects for both public and private clients across Long Island, New York City, and the lower Hudson Valley. 

Who You Are:

What we are looking for is a Part-Time individual to handle Accounts Payable. This person will report to our Oyster Bay office 1 or 2 days a week (flexible). The expected hours is 10-15 per week. 

What You'll Do:

Accounting Duties/Responsibilities:

• Enter charges into Core (PM Software) for each project and sync with QuickBooks (Accounting Software).
• Conduct monthly credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with Accounts Payable, ensuring timely vendor payments, and entering vendor invoices into QuickBooks and Core.

What You Bring:

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of A/P experience 
• Experience with QuickBooks
