Position Summary:The Parking Manager role will be comprised of two areas of focus. The primary focus for this position will be the overall execution of the parking logistics, centering on the safe and efficient ingress and egress of patrons for all events taking place on the Ranch campus. The secondary focus for this position will be the management and coordination of the technology and third-party vendors which comprise our paid parking system.
The Parking Manager position will be a non-exempt role with a starting hourly wage of $26.44-$31.25 per hour depending upon experience.

About the Venue:Blue Arena at The Ranch Events Complex, located in Loveland, Colorado, is a 6,800 seat multi-purpose venue, which opened in September 2003, and is home to the Colorado Eagles of the American Hockey League. The arena, which is owned by Larimer County, is managed by Oak View Group, the fastest growing firm in the public assembly facility management field with more than 300 facilities throughout the United States and Canada. This multipurpose facility can host hockey, basketball, football, family shows in any configuration, rodeos, diverse concert settings in various capacities, trade shows and several dozen setups to accommodate just about any event. Blue Arena, less than an hour's drive from Denver and Cheyenne, has become the focal point for sports and entertainment in Northern Colorado. Blue Arena is part of a larger 374,000 square-foot fairground complex called The Ranch which is the official name of the Larimer County Fairgrounds and Events Complex.
Responsibilities:- Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and evaluate Parking Attendant staff, addressing deficiencies and implementing discipline/termination procedures throughout the process.
- Conduct biannual Parking Attendant staff training.
- Track, record, and report Parking Attendant staff labor allocations for assigned events for purposes of forecasting, benchmarking, budgeting, and event settlement.
- Responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating the parking logistics of all events taking place at the Blue Arena and the Ranch; act as liaison for building with all parties involved in the event.
- Work alongside Assistant Box Office Manager during the process of inputting license plate information into the PRRS system for The Ranch employees, Oak View Group employees, clients, vendors, contractors, etc.
- Assist the Assistant Box Office Manager with the annual upload and maintaining of season ticket holder license plate information for tenant teams of the Blue Arena.
- Maintain working inventory of all temporary parking equipment including, but not limited to traffic cones, delineators, barricades, and a-frame signage.
- Ensure routine maintenance checks and necessary logs are being conducted and produced for all vehicles and trailers being utilized for equipment distribution.
- Maintain open communications between tenants, contractors, employees, and facility guests.
- Communicate any problems and proposed solutions to the Director of Events, Assistant General Manager and General Manager following events.
- Work with wayfinding and rideshare partners (Google, Waze, Apple Maps, Uber, Lyft, etc.) to ensure accurate information is being provided to guests for accessing the Blue Arena and the Ranch.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- 3-5 years experience working with parking/transportation logistics, event management, or equivalent.
- Experience working with parking services such as ParkWhiz, ParkHub, PRRS, or equivalent.
- Able to work flexible hours including, but not limited to, nights, weekends, evenings, and holidays, with extended hours ranging from a couple of hours up to 16 hours.
- Able to lift 50+ lbs.
- Able to work outdoors, be exposed to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold, dust, dirt, extreme noise and potentially hazardous materials.
- Able to withstand prolonged walking, standing, bending, pushing, stooping and kneeling without restrictions.
- Able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in written form.
- General knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license required.
