STATUS: PART-TIME (NON-EXEMPT)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Parking Lot Attendant is responsible for maintaining the overall flow and condition of the complex. The team member will be responsible for collecting funds and issuing tickets for each vehicle as well as monitoring behavior and checking the building after events.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Collect funds from each vehicle
- Direct all cars into the appropriate parking destination
- Operate hand-held scanners
- Check cars for passes and direct them to the correct locations
- Be alert and report suspicious behavior to a manager and/or law enforcement
- Position barricades, cones, and other traffic equipment in lots to prevent parking in designated areas
- Assist operations department with any requested job duties inside or outside of facility
- RV Park duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance is necessary
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
- Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders, and fellow team members
- Must work well with others
- Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility
- Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of others
- Must be able to operate golf cart and transport staff
- Must have valid driver's license
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
- Will be required to stand for long periods of time
- Must wear proper uniform
- Must be able to stoop and bend
- Must comply with safety and health code standards
- Facility has intermittent noise
- Will be required to be outdoors for long periods of time
PREFERRED:
- Cash handling experience
- Customer service experience
