POSITION SUMMARY:
Park Attendants are part-time, year-round, and seasonal staff responsible for managing picnic reservations, meetings, weddings, and special events at park facilities. They serve as the primary contact for the public, assisting visitors with information and directions, and supporting Park Rangers with parking and other tasks. Attendants must enjoy working with people and be available for various schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, primarily in summer. They will work at multiple park locations, including Stone Cliffe Recreation Area and Action Park.

Attendants must enjoy working with people and be available for various schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, primarily in summer. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions
- Check in group reservations and ensure their needs are met.
- Remove trash and maintain cleanliness.
- Inspect and clean restrooms.
- Assist with special events, including parking and support.
- Provide visitor information services.
- Manage facility access for group reservations.
- Collaborate with Park Rangers to enforce park rules.
- Conduct safety inspections of Action Park equipment.
- Perform groundskeeping tasks as needed.
- Adapt to event issues and changing needs.
- Document work performed and report facility issues.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- One year of relevant experience or training.
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
- CPR/AED or First Aid certification preferred.
- Strong public relations and customer service skills.
- Enjoy working with the public.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Self-starter, able to work independently and in a team.
- Must be available weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to handle stress.
- Physical presence in facilities is required.
- Ability to work extended hours (12-16 hours).
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, stoop, climb, and reach.
- Ability to walk at various intervals.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Varied shifts required for year-round park coverage.
