The Role

Private Accounting Solutions (PAS) Paraprofessionals serve as members of various client service teams and are responsible for a variety of accounting and financial reporting functions.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Maintaining accounting and general ledger functions;
• Preparing account reconciliations; and
• Performing basic accounting research with written conclusions.

Compensation and Benefits

Our firm offers competitive base compensation, benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics per the defined program guidelines. For individuals hired to work in New York City, the expected salary range for this role is $62,500 to $91,700; the actual salary offer can vary based upon employee qualifications.

We offer paid time off, beginning at 160 hours annually and provides twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Compensation: In addition to competitive base compensation, our firm offers annual discretionary bonuses based on firm and individual performance, a discretionary long-term cash incentive program, and other forms of discretionary compensation that would be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range scale.

The Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor’s in Accounting, or Accounting Certificate (preferred);
• Solid foundation in accounting principles and practices (preferred);
• Previous experience in accounting, tax return preparation, and/or account reconciliations;
• Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment;
• Proficient use of technology; and
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.
