Financial Paraplanner
Location = Irvine, CA (in office). MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUTE TO IRVINE!
Compensation = $95,000 to $115,000 per year

advocates for their hopes and dreams. Utilizing best-in-class resources and technology, you will roll up your
sleeves and work in collaboration with the firm to tackle complex financial, estate, and tax planning situations and deliver an experience to clients that is second to none.
Interested in more details? As a Paraplanner, you can expect to:
o Provide technical support to the firm’s advisors.
o Participate and listen carefully in planning meetings and translate the discussions into action items designed to drive financial planning efforts.
o Gather and organize supporting documentation and assist advisors
with preparation for client meetings.
o Prepare for client meetings, preparing agendas and supporting documentation for review by advisor; follow up with action items arising from client meetings, and correspond with clients, advisors and strategic partners as needed.
o Follow through on post-meeting activities including updating client data, synthesizing notes, and documenting communications and tasks in CRM.
o Produce and update financial performance reports using various software applications (eMoney, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), keeping meticulous records of interactions and plan progress using the CRM, etc.
o Assist with retirement planning integration and service.
o Sending, receiving, and processing client documents and communications with clients, advisors, and vendors.
o Own the implementation of client planning strategies.
o Continuously stay in relationship with colleagues and clients, understanding their unique circumstances, connections, talents, interests, etc.
o Stay current on trends in the financial planning area.
o Recommend new or updated tools and resources to keep the firm on the cutting edge (e.g., financial planning resources, etc.).
Qualifications for this role include:
o Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required
o CFP® designation a plus
o Life and Variable Insurance license
o Series 7 preferred but not required
o 3-5 years as a Paraplanner; 5-7 years in the wealth planning industry
o Tax return, trading and insurance experience; broad product knowledge and familiarity with estate planning.
o Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
o Strong computer desktop skills are required: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
o Knowledge of CRM Systems and Emoney competency preferred
o Organized, excellent follow through.
o Orientation towards people and enjoy working in a team environment.
o Superior verbal and written communication skills.
o Demonstrated job stability and career progression.
