Qualifications:

• High School/GED
• Current NM drivers license is required (out of state candidates have 30 days from date of hire to obtain).
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a driving record insurable per PHS policy.
• Requires certification in defensive driving techniques. Must possess and maintain a State of New Mexico Paramedic certification in good standing.
• Must maintain a New Mexico drivers license without relevent restrictions.
• Must maintain all requiered certifications (ACLS, BLS, DOT certification).
• Ability to perform CPR and all skills associated with Paramedic licensure.
• Medical examiners certification/DOT certification

 

 

Responsibilities:

Provide prehospital emergency care and transportation for injured and/or ill patients to city hospitals for the Albuquerque Ambulance Service of Presbyterian healthcare Services
