Cert Surg Tech ASC -PRN - *Hiring Immediately* - OSS Health

Job Summary: Seeking a certified Surgical Technologist to join the OR team, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. No nights, weekends, or holidays required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist and BLS certification (or ability to obtain within one year).
• Surgical Tech I: Preferred prior experience; Surgical Tech II: Minimum of 3 years required.
• Proficient in medical terminology, computer skills, and effective communication.

Essential Duties:

• Prepare and check surgical instruments and supplies.
• Maintain aseptic technique and assist with counts.
• Support the surgical team and assist with patient transfers and room cleaning.
• Adhere to safety and infection control guidelines.

Physical Demands: Moderate physical effort; ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Exposure to various hazards in a surgical environment.
