DESCRIPTION:
Position Entails: Implementation of a new contact center team and associated technology across multiple physician practices. This position will support the Contact Center leadership with developing and executing projects plans which include but are not limited to: business requirements, process mapping, testing, rollout planning and communication. This position will be responsible for coordinating activities between Parallon and Client business units, physician practices, technical PMs and development teams.
Special Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Healthcare, hospital system, revenue cycle operations or contact center operations experience a plus.
Knowledge of Agile and traditional project methodologies.
Strong Communications/Transformation Management skills.
Familiarity with contact center operations would be beneficial.
The Senior Project Manager I is responsible for all aspects of multiple medium to large projects
with moderate to high complexity. This individual is responsible for taking projects from original concept through
completion, acting as a single point of accountability for the projects, and utilizing Parallon Project Controls and
Standards to ensure projects meet their stated objectives. The Senior Project Manager I must demonstrate strong
commitment to stakeholder relationships by proactively communicating and taking ownership of risks/issues and
facilitating effective outcomes in a timely manner. Moderate travel may be required, based upon job role.
Supervisor: Senior PM II or above.
Supervises: N/A
Duties (included but not limited to):
Organize project activities into manageable work efforts for team members, and determine an effective
approach to completing the work, as outlined in project plan
Author/facilitate strategic documents such as Project Charters, Education and Communication plans, and
detailed project plans, and present project updates to business owners
Manage and communicate a clear project scope and motivate team members
Manage multiple business owner(s) and team member(s) relationships to accomplish project activities
Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and cross-project dependencies
Monitor and report on project activities and reporting on statuses within published timelines
Coach team members to clarify task assignments, milestones, and deliverables
Identify, prepare, and/or ensure completion of high quality, professional deliverables as required by each
project plan
Facilitate the creation of toolkits to support field-based implementations

Physical Demands/Working Conditions: Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and
stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier,
telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record,
prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Requires lifting papers or boxes up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Work is an office environment. Work may be stressful at times. Contact may involve dealing with angry or upset
people. Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency
situations.
OSHA Category: The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues (although
situations can be imagined or hypothesized under which anyone, anywhere, might encounter potential exposure
to body fluids). Persons who perform these duties are not called upon as part of their employment to perform or
assist in emergency care or first aid, or to be potentially exposed in some other way.
