Johnson Service Group, a nationally recognized staffing firm, is targeting a Paralleling Controls Engineer for our industrial manufacturing client in the Illinois and/or Indiana area.
This is a Direct Hire Role | High Travel of 75% Domestically, via Plane | Candidate must already have authorization to work with in the US as our client isnt able to provide current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities:
- Support of local and extended territories across hospitals, data centers, etc. with a strong understanding of NFPA 70E and safety standards.
- Support Woodward and EZ Gen systems along with a strong knowledge/understanding of PLCs, advanced protective relay knowledge, auto throwover in low/medium voltage switchgears and HMI experience across CPUs.
- Responsible for managing customer reports, expenses, safety paperwork, timesheets, and other tasks with a high level of professionalism.
- Engineering degree required.
- 5 years experience working with paralleling switchgear and controls.
- ATS and generator knowledge, preferred.
- Candidate must already have authorization to work with in the US as our client isnt able to provide current or future sponsorship.
