Job Title: Paralegals and Legal Assistants

Minimum Education:
- Technical Degree/Certificate Program or Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies or related field.
Work Experience:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a legal setting, but flexibility for exceptional candidates.
Job Duties:
- Assist in the compilation of binders, document reviews, and provide litigation support.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, including reserving conference rooms.
- Pull and assemble paperwork from job applicants for review and intake.
- Support in the review and intake of complaints.
- Respond to callers and manage complaints professionally.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work with spreadsheets.
- Interest in civil rights issues.
Misc. Information:
- Shift Days/Time: Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm.
- Work Schedule: Hybrid (optional), with telecommuting available for two days a week.
- No free parking facility available.
- Several subway lines and express buses are in close proximity to worksite location.
