Job Details
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Paralegal in Los Angeles to join our dynamic legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where you will be an essential part of our legal operations. This full-time, permanent position will allow you to utilize and refine your paralegal skills while working remotely from the comfort of your own home. You will work closely with our attorneys and legal team to provide comprehensive paralegal support, including litigation, filing, e-filing, documentation, and calendaring.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive paralegal support to our legal team, including drafting and editing legal documents, conducting legal research, and preparing case materials for attorney review.
2. Manage case files and documentation with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that all necessary documents are accurately filed and organized.
3. Utilize e-filing systems to electronically file and manage legal documents, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
4. Assist in the preparation and management of litigation, including coordinating with attorneys, managing discovery, and organizing exhibits.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal or in a similar role within the legal industry.
2. Proficiency in using legal software for e-filing, documentation, and calendaring.
3. Exceptional knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and legal document formatting.
4. Strong skills in drafting and editing legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
5. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
