Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent position that offers a challenging and rewarding work environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in legal documentation, case management, legal assistance, and legal software. Experience in litigation support, document review, estate planning, and business law is also required. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who has spent at least two years in the legal field and is ready to take their career to the next level.
As a Paralegal, you will be responsible for a broad range of duties, including:
1. Preparing and managing legal documents, ensuring they meet all legal standards and regulations.
2. Assisting in case management, including organizing and tracking case files, scheduling court dates, and maintaining case-related correspondence.
3. Providing comprehensive legal assistance to our team of attorneys, including research, drafting legal documents, and preparing case briefs.
4. Utilizing legal software for case management, document review, and trial preparation.
5. Offering litigation support during trials, including preparing exhibits, taking notes, and handling witnesses.
6. Conducting document review for relevancy, privilege, and other issues.
7. Assisting in estate planning and business law matters, including drafting wills, trusts, business contracts, and other related documents.
To be considered for this position, you must have:
1. A paralegal certification or equivalent.
2. At least two years of experience as a paralegal.
3. Extensive experience in legal documentation, case management, legal assistance, and legal software.
4. Hands-on experience in litigation support and document review.
5. Knowledge of estate planning and business law.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Strong research and analytical skills.
8. Proficiency in using legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
