Seeking a Legal Assistant/Paralegal with experience in labor & employment litigation. This position offers flexibility with a hybrid-telework schedule as an option.
Required skills include knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 and the ability to learn new software applications; the ability to work independently; strong communication and organization skills; and the ability to juggle multiple assignments. Candidates must have experience with litigation case management and document production. Must be familiar with federal, state, and local rules for electronic filings and be able to format legal briefs, including generating tables of authorities and tables of contents.
Duties:
- Drafting, proofreading, formatting, and editing legal documents.
- Assist with written and document discovery
- Filing and service of motion papers and briefs.
- Organization of documents for hearings, depositions and trial.
- Formatting and editing marketing materials and client presentations, requiring the use of PowerPoint and other desktop publishing software.
- Administrative tasks, such as calendaring, copying, scanning, and typing.
- Assisting with paper and electronic case file organization.
