Title: Paralegal/Legal Assistant
Location: Southwestern United States (Regional)
Description:
The Paralegal/Legal Assistant will assist senior legal leadership by providing a broad range of legal and administrative support. This role requires an independent self-starter with a strong background in contracts and excellent organizational skills. The ideal candidate will manage contract workflows and lifecycle processes, ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines and strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements, organizing legal documentation, and maintaining communication with relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal and factual research.
Organize and analyze data and materials.
Prepare and edit written reports and contracts.
Manage contract workflows and lifecycle processes.
Maintain and update legal databases and files.
Ensure accuracy in legal forms and documents.
Monitor and review updated laws and regulations for relevance.
Coordinate various legal activities, such as handling subpoenas.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree, associate degree, or certificate in paralegal studies.
Certification as a paralegal or legal assistant.
Strong knowledge of legal principles, terminology, and research techniques.
Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Excellent communication, grammar, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in relevant legal and administrative software tools.
Desired Skills:
Advanced expertise in contract lifecycle management.
Ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Demonstrated skill in legal document preparation and editing.
