Role Description

• Valid Illinois Notary Certification Required

We are seeking a dynamic, people-oriented Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for the law, and a commitment to helping our clients run their law practice. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with attorneys and clients, managing case files and supporting a variety of legal practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and discovery materials.
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress.
• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and trial binders.
• Coordinate with external parties, including court personnel and opposing counsel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an associate degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Ability to work on multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
