Paralegal I at US Tech Solutions

Duration: 4 months contract

Job Description:

 You will work directly with our attorneys to draft, proofread and submit regulatory filings, prepare for upcoming cases, work with our external councils, and get involved in special projects as needed. You will work in a fast-paced legal department where you might have to perform various tasks on more than one project simultaneously, taking a phone call on one matter while sorting through documents on another. Composure and ability to multitask is important. You will interact regularly with internal business clients, outside attorneys, regulators and senior executives. You are the ideal candidate for this position if you are organized, professional, responsible, and committed to helping us meet all of our regulatory and business clients’ needs.

Responsibilities:

• Experience in a corporate legal department
  • Experience in using Office applications (particularly Word and Outlook) and legal research software
  • The ability to handle pressure, looming deadlines, and changing priorities
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Legal research and investigation skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  
  
  

Experience:

• At least 5 years
• Excel,SharePoint
• PowerPoint SharePoint and Microsoft Access

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
