Are you a seasoned Paralegal with a knack for precision, a passion for law, and a desire to make a significant impact? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in a fast-paced legal environment and work on a variety of fascinating cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex legal documentation, case management, providing legal assistance, and calendaring.
Responsibilities:
As a Paralegal, your principal duties will include:
1. Conducting extensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and proceedings.
2. Assisting attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings, and attending them when necessary.
3. Drafting, proofreading, and finalizing a variety of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
4. Managing and organizing case files to ensure information is updated and easily accessible.
5. Coordinating and managing court dates, appointments, and deadlines - maintaining an accurate calendar for the legal team.
6. Providing clear, concise, and timely communication with clients, witnesses, court officials, and other attorneys.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Paralegal.
2. A Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent is preferred.
3. Exceptional knowledge of legal documentation, case management, legal assistance, and calendaring.
4. Proficiency in using legal research software and case management tools.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
