Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation and management of legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to the medical industry.
2. Conduct comprehensive research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles.
3. Ensure all company activities comply with federal and state laws and regulations.
4. Assist in the development of the company's risk management strategy and ensure its effective implementation.
5. Organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing system.
6. Meet with clients, attorneys, and other professionals to discuss details of the case.
7. Prepare and distribute compliance reports to internal management teams.
8. Participate in the development of corporate policies and procedures.
9. Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
10. Assist with special projects as assigned by the legal team.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in the Medical industry.
2. Certification from an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program of education and training, or an associate degree in paralegal studies.
3. Profound knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to the medical industry.
4. Demonstrated experience in compliance and risk management.
5. Proficiency in legal research tools and document management systems.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
9. High level of organization and ability to manage multiple time-sensitive assignments.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
