What You'll Do:
As an integral part of our Foreclosure team, you will:
- Manage attorneys' schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Act as a key point of contact by receiving and screening calls for partners, facilitating communication with clients, judges, opposing counsel, and other legal professionals.
- Coordinate and schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and examinations under oath.
- E-File documents via E-Portal and E-Service to opposing counsel efficiently and accurately.
- Track and manage documents produced in response to requests from agencies.
- Draft essential legal documents, including correspondences, form pleadings, basic motions, and notices.
- Perform other administrative duties as needed to support the smooth operation of the unit.
- Keep client systems (BKFS/Tempo) up-to-date, ensuring all active matters reflect a current status within a 30-day timeframe.
What We're Looking For:
We’re searching for a candidate who is:
- Experienced: At least 3 years of relevant foreclosure or bankruptcy experience, with a solid understanding of legal proceedings.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in MS Office Suite is a must; experience with Aderant Total Office (ATO) is a plus.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: Capable of managing multiple tasks with precision and efficiency.
- Collaborative: A team player who communicates effectively and can work well with diverse groups.
