We seek a skilled and detail-orientedEmployment Law Paralegal to join our dynamic San Jose, CA legal team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting attorneys in employment law matters, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with all aspects of employment law cases, including wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, discrimination, harassment, and compliance matters.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and summarize findings related to employment statutes, case law, and regulations.
• Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, discovery responses, settlement agreements, and demand letters.
• Coordinate and manage discovery processes, including document collection, review, and production.
• Support trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing witness files, and assisting with courtroom logistics.
• Maintain and manage case files, ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and government agencies as needed.
• Monitor changes in employment law regulations and provide updates to the legal team.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience, with a focus on employment law.
• Proficient in legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw) and case management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment law practices in California.
