PARALEGAL - DTP COMPANIES

DTP Companies is looking for a dynamic, self-starting, wildly passionate Paralegal to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is extremely flexible, eager to tackle new challenges, and comfortable working in an unconventional (but super fun) environment.

Here are the details:

• Under the direction of General Counsel and other managers, serve as a liaison between internal business clients and external outside counsel on a variety of projects and assignments
• Contract review, preparation of correspondence and negotiation of contracts
• Legal and industry research: research issues and projects as directed and create reports and summaries
• Provide administrative review and support on matters relating to business contracts and license agreements; prepare and maintain agreements and files
• Preparing and filing business licenses, legal documents with appropriate agencies and entities
• Provide support for special projects, including litigation support
• Monitor contract terms and need for notices and all current contracts summarized
• Ability to research local code and ordinances to assist with compliance requirements

• Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize
• Must be adaptable to a fast-paced and changing environment
• Team player – willing to roll up sleeves and drive action to achieve results

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage time and heavy workload
• Ability to create and maintain corporate, litigation and contract files

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Paralegal certification preferred 
• 5 to 15 years of paralegal experience with law firm or in-house law department
