Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Legal Secretary to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys and enhancing the efficiency of our legal operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including document preparation, filing, and managing calendars
- Assist in drafting legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Organize and maintain legal files, both electronic and hard copy
- Schedule meetings, hearings, and appointments
- Conduct legal research as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a legal secretary or similar role
- Proficient in legal document preparation and formatting
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong background in Word/Excel/PowerPoint
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
