Paralegal – Personal Injury
Full-time | In-Office | $60K-$80K/year
TemPositions is excited to partner with a dynamic and fast-growing law firm in search of a Paralegal to join their team. This firm is dedicated to helping those who have suffered injuries due to the negligence of others, and we are looking for someone who shares this passion for making a difference.
The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and able to manage time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment. If you thrive working both independently and as part of a collaborative team, this role could be a great fit for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal injury cases from inception to completion
- Communicate compassionately and frequently with clients
- Maintain electronic document filing systems
- Draft and proofread legal documents (complaints, pleadings, affidavits, etc.)
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule depositions, and serve subpoenas
- Secure and organize medical records and healthcare lien information
- Assist with fact investigation and case preparation
The Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years of experience in personal injury litigation (plaintiff or defense)
- Strong legal drafting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in high-pressure situations
- Knowledge of court rules, filing procedures, and law office processes
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
Requirements:
- Previous experience with litigation claims
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software
- Ability to meet demanding deadlines and make timely decisions
