About the Job
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Review documents for accuracy and completeness before submission for appropriate signatures.
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research as needed.
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Provide administrative support to the General Counsel, including calendar management and scheduling meetings.
- Assist with project management tasks, ensuring timely completion of legal projects
- Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines efficiently
- Provide clear and professional communication with Advisors as needed, assisting with the onboarding process for new advisors.
- Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role within a law firm or a corporate environment is preferred.
- Strong skills in legal drafting and document management systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent writing skills with attention to detail
- Ability to successfully work in and navigate a fast-paced work environment with multiple competing priorities that sometimes conflict
- Must be able to work independently, using initiative and self-motivation, and collaboratively with members of a team
- Technology savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
- Experience with corporate law is a plus but not mandatory.
