YOUR LIFE AS A PANTRY COOK - GARDE MANGER CHEF:
This full-time position typically follows a 5-day work week, including weekends and evenings.
As a member of our culinary team, you will set up your pantry station in preparation for daily meal service. Your responsibilities will include preparing and plating cold dishes such as appetizers, salads, and desserts. With your experience, you will guide and support our culinary associates in presentation and technique. Your positive attitude will foster cooperation, team spirit, and high morale among all restaurant staff. You will collaborate with our culinary team on seasonal menu development, providing valuable suggestions. Additionally, you will assist our executive chef as needed. The satisfaction of preparing beautifully plated dishes for our customers' enjoyment will be your greatest reward!
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- 2+ years of experience as a restaurant cook OR equivalent culinary experience
- Passion for and knowledge of Italian cuisine
- Extensive food knowledge
- Professional experience cooking from scratch using locally sourced, high-quality ingredients
- Previous experience in a fine-dining restaurant is preferred
