Our client, a global investment firm, is seeking an experienced PAM Developer to join their team in El Segundo, CA!
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and continuous improvements to Portfolio Accounting System.
- Responsible for production and development efforts supporting Equity and Fixed Income on business applications related to security master, market data, settlements, reconciliation, and performance measurement.
- Develop new workflows or enhance existing workflows to meet business requirements.
- Coordinate software implementations, testing, and upgrades with software vendors and outside consultants.
- Document results of data analysis in a comprehensive yet clear and concise manner and write database queries to provide data extracts and reports.
- Development of automation scripts to improve operational efficiencies across the firm.
- Assist with troubleshooting and escalation of high-level/high-risk systems failures.
- Provides application support, communicates with users on systems status, system change, problems, and enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with C#, RSL development, SQL statements, MS SQL Server, SSIS or any other ETL tool.
- Experience working with security data across financial markets, including Equities and Fixed Income, Bank Loans, and Derivatives.
- Interface experience with any of the following: State Street PAM, SS&C Recon, Advent Geneva, Charles River, FactSet, and/or Bloomberg.
- Experience developing including new interfaces, updating existing requirements and troubleshooting issues.
- Understanding of Data Warehouse fundamentals and industry-standard data flows.
- Working knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and Jira.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative and critically analyze processes and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to multi-task; self-motivated and team oriented professional.
