RN, Palliative Care - Community Memorial Healthcare

Salary Range: $46.92 - $73.61/ hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Position Overview: 

Provides direct patient care to palliative care patients through the consult service, in collaboration with and under the direction of the Director Palliative Care Services. Is the leader and daily coordinator of the Palliative Care Services team, ensuring excellent patient care services, linking team efforts with inpatient, outpatient and community services.

Required:

• Current CA RN License
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Three (3) years of direct patient care experience

Preferred:

• Practice experience in internal medicine, geriatrics, or oncology
• EPEC or ELNEC training
• Two (2) years Hospice/Palliative Care experience
• Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care
• Bilingual in Spanish
