We are seeking a Painter for a position in Port Sulphur, LA. The Painter position performs surface preparation per specification to achieve proper adhesion on asset and applies protective coating on asset to achieve corrosion prevention, identification, hazard recognition, product purity, etc. Non-exempt role; Reports to the Foreman; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

Essential Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent
- TWIC required and Basic
- Preferred experience with industrial coatings operations and best practices
- Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
- Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
- Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
- Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace
Functional Requirements:
Performs surface preparation per specification to provide proper adhesion of material, Utilizes various methods for surface preparation, including but not limited to solvent, hand tools, power tools, pressurized water jet, abrasive blast cleaning, etc., Applies protective coatings to customer assets for corrosion prevention, identification, hazard recognition, product purity, etc., Utilizes various methods including brush/roll, conventional spray, single/plural component airless spray, hand trowel, thermal spray aluminum, etc., Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
Compensation
Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:
