Our manufacturing client, is looking for a skilled Paint Robotic Technician – Team Lead for the 2nd shift. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards in automotive finishing, involving the operation and maintenance of robotic equipment. Responsibilities:
- Operate robotic equipment to meet customer quality standards and delivery schedules.
- Identify, communicate, and document issues related to the product, process, and quality system.
- Recommend and implement solutions to prevent non-conformities in the product and process.
- Verify the implementation and effectiveness of recommended solutions.
- Participate in control plan updates as per IATF-16949 protocol.
- Develop, implement, verify, and document paint parameter settings for all application equipment.
- Perform and document all maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of robotic equipment.
- Conduct daily maintenance on electrostatic spray guns and related equipment.
- Verify and calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and repeatability in the painting process.
- Exhibit teamwork skills and actively participate in team activities in a positive working environment.
- Adhere to all safety and health objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain proper ergonomics and clean assigned work areas after completing tasks.
- Report malfunctioning equipment to the Process Team Leader.
- Work overtime as needed in accordance with company policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in a related technical field, or six years of relevant work experience.
- Combination of work experience and current schooling towards a degree will be considered.
- Proficiency with the Windows platform.
- Previous experience in automotive finishing and robotics.
- Mechanical and electrical experience with industrial control systems is an asset.
Preferences:
- Ability to perform tasks while standing or walking for a minimum of eight hours a day.
- Capacity to lift up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work below the knees and above the shoulders as needed.
- Ability to climb stairs and wear a respirator when necessary.
- Good close vision required.
- Must adhere to the company's smoke and tobacco-free policy both on and offsite.
- Knowledge of computer technology and programming is an asset.

Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
