Compensation: $120,000 - $130,000 per year

Position Summary

A leading automotive manufacturing firm seeks an experienced Paint Operations Manager to oversee all paint department functions. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this role is responsible for the department's quality, equipment, personnel, and compliance with environmental and safety regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in automotive paint operations, budget management, and a stable work history, with a track record of implementing positive change.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and control department budget, including equipment purchases and installations.
• Ensure EPA, OSHA, IATF 16949, and ISO14001 compliance and promote a culture of safety.
• Direct and evaluate paint department activities to meet quality standards and performance goals.
• Oversee maintenance, training, and optimal use of department equipment.
• Conduct personnel evaluations, coordinate employee involvement, and foster training programs.
• Partner with external contractors and vendors for equipment needs and operational improvements.
• Contribute to annual financial planning and drive initiatives to support plant-wide objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, with expertise in paint processes.
• Background in the automotive industry preferred.
