We are seeking a compassionate Pain Management Physician to join our medical practice in Baltimore, MD. We value our patients and truly want to listen to them and offer comprehensive care, so we schedule new patient appointments for 30-45 min blocks and follow up appointments in 30 min time frames. Our ideal Physician has tact and skill in patient management, excellent communication skills, and enjoys working as a part of a comprehensive team to offer our patients the best care possible, that they need and deserve! The Physician has a dedicated team to work alongside them including a PA and a scribe|MA. We will consider Pain Management (General or Interventional) or Neurologists for this position. We can accommodate a physician looking for either a full time or part time position, covering our offices in the greater Baltimore area.

Job Duties:

1. Patient care and management
2. Recommend tests and conducts diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment.
3. Order Diagnostic labs|imaging- in house computerized neurocognitive testing, specifically ImPACT testing
4. Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries
5. Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
6. We treat a high number of personal injury patients who have been injured on the job or due to the negligence of another and, therefore, the timeliness and accuracy of documentation and reports are paramount. Duties include proffering testimony on behalf of some patients treated.
7. Documentation- timely and accurate
8. Order|refer to in house vestibular, cognitive, and aquatic therapy
9. Collaboration with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient care
10. Pain Management- Perform interventional pain procedures if trained

Requirements:

1. MD|DO from an accredited educational institution
2. Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland
3. BCBE Interventional Pain Physician, General Pain Management, or Neurologist
4. Favorable malpractice history
5. Basic Life Support|Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
6. DEA license

Schedule:

1. Full time Monday- Friday or Part time at 3 days per week
2. No Call or Weekends!

Salary:

1. $250|hr
2. $325k - $425k base (Depending on specialty) plus additional compensation for depositions, IME’s, and narratives
