We are looking for an experienced media planner and strong project manager to support the North American paid marketing workstream with a strategic focus on driving growth and awareness for Square. In this role, you will help build highly impactful campaigns and test into incremental opportunities. You will support the Senior Growth Marketing Manager to define, execute and measure paid media marketing from strategy to execution to drive scalable growth for the brand including manual campaign execution, testing, and developing scalable processes in partnership with cross-functional partners. You will be a full-funnel media expert owning the media mix and audience strategy, with a strong focus on improving campaign measurement, to develop a solid playbook for mid-upper funnel paid media activity. A proactive mindset, the ability to organize large scale, complex workstreams and the ability to work effectively with many partners and stakeholders are key skills we are looking for.
Key Duties
Oversee end-to-end campaign execution across cross-functional teams to ensure on time and accurate launches of US and CA paid marketing campaigns.
Support the execution of all integrated paid marketing campaigns across a variety of digital and traditional media channels including Social, Programmatic, Video, OOH and more.
Track team's quarterly goals across relevant KPIs to improve reach and efficiency; constantly optimize media mix and audience targeting to positively impact QoQ performance.
Support Marketing Analytics to provide data-driven insights and optimization recommendations that inform future campaign planning, including running Brand Lift Studies and leveraging in-house performance dashboards to track marketing team goals.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Content, and Channel Specialists to ensure cohesive strategy, messaging and brand positioning for all paid marketing initiatives.
Skills:
3-5 years of paid marketing experience in a SaaS, Tech and/or B2B organization, including cross-channel media planning and hands-on execution of digital channels (Paid Social, Display, etc.)
Strong project management skills, experience with campaign planning cycles and managing multi-million-dollar budgets. Ability to think independently while managing day-to-day operations effectively.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under fast-moving deadlines.
Strong collaborative skills and experience with cross-functional teams across different markets and time zones.
Deep understanding of local markets within North American (with a focus on Canada), with knowledge of local cultures, media trends and marketing opportunities.
Experience with media platforms and organization tools (Asana, Notion)
Education:
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience of additional 4+ years of experience in marketing or related field experience in at least two of these areas (paid social, digital advertising, content marketing, display)
