Job Title: Packaging Operator

Location: St. Louis, MO

Job Duration: 12 months+

Job Description:

Key Accountabilities: Supports operational functions, provides technical guidance, assists with the implementation of improvements, and works on departmental projects in order to ensure department and corporate objectives are satisfied.

Education: HS Diploma or equivalent

Desirable: High school course work in chemistry or 6 months chemistry related work experience

Work Experience:

2-4 years packaging experience preferred but not required.

Job specific Competencies & Skills

Knowledge and Skills:

· Ability to operate powered industrial equipment and perform hand weighing operations. Also able to setup and run drum massager, delumper, filling machine, capper, automated labeler, and other ergonomic equipment.

· Knowledge of product flow throughout the packaging process.

· Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner with all levels of staff both orally and written.

· Ability to work in a group setting.

· Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.

· Ability to work quickly and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Demonstrated problem-solving and team building skills with the ability to work with a diverse group of people.
