Packaging Operator 3 (AM) at Ronin Staffing, LLC

Hours: 6am-6pm on the same rotating 2 week schedule as our MFG Techs. (Week 1 M,T,F,S / Week 2 Su, W, Th).Length: 12 month contract with a possibility of extension or conversion to full-timeNOTE: This is NOT a warehouse position.3 Must haves:HS diploma or GED requiredMust have: High school course work in chemistry or 6 months chemistry related work experience; previous experience running lines/ automation - will be operating machines vs. hand filling; Forklift experience; GMP experience (preferred)Must be able to work with PPE, steel toed shoes, and pass a physical, pulmonary check, drug screen; and respirator fit required *****Must be clean shaved daily********Key AccountabilitiesSupports operational functions, provides technical guidance, assists with the implementation of improvements, and works on departmental projects in order toensure department and corporate objectives are satisfied.Work Experience2-4 years packaging experience preferred but not required.Job specific Competencies & SkillsKnowledge and Skills: Ability to operate powered industrial equipment and perform hand weighing operations. Also able to setup and run drum massager, delumper, filling machine, capper, automated labeler, and other ergonomic equipment. Knowledge of product flow throughout the packaging process. Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner with all levels of staff both orally and written. Ability to work in a group setting. Ability to demonstrate attention to detail. Ability to work quickly and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-pace environment. Demonstrated problem-solving and team building skills with the ability to work with a diverse group of people.
