Packaging Lead Person – Ashburn, GA
This is an non-exempt level position.
Position Summary:
+ Coachable, Motivated individual with Initiative to continuously improve
+ Under limited supervision, lead a group colleagues to accomplish tasks in the Packaging Department.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Leadership and Organizational Skills
+ Conducts job tasks with a positive, safe attitude and maintains a safe work record.
+ Maintain a good attendance record.
+ Work rotating shifts of various lengths including weekends and holidays
+ Maintains good communication with all plant personnel. (Other shifts, departments and managers)
+ Maintain production rates
+ Ability to understand and perform assigned job tasks easily and independently while flexible enough to work in team settings.
+ Maintains good housekeeping and ensures that required sanitation duties and paperwork are completed as required.
+ Conducts daily inspections, reporting any problems noted.
+ Continuously monitors and adjusts equipment for optimal performance and quality
+ Review quality control documents and make necessary adjustments
+ Perform Food Safety/HACCP/Quality Control checks and document
+ Complete assigned paperwork accurately
+ Perform maintenance and sanitation on machines as required
+ May perform other duties as assigned.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
