Position Summary

The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Twisting, kneeling and squatting are required. The employee is required to sit and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds utilizing a team-lift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and distance vision.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Handle and properly pack product so that product is not damaged during shipping; repackage product if necessary
- Use the WMS system and shipping system to process orders
- Ensure the correct products and picking sheets match
- Ability to determine products by model numbers and SKUs
- Load, stack, or place the outbound product on pallets with labels and ensure accuracy of carrier
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks including, but not limited to: Sweeping aisles, assisting with recycling efforts, stocking inventory and supplies
- Work in accordance with all safety regulations of the warehouse. Wear and utilize proper safety clothing and materials.
- Report any safety hazards, accidents, or near misses to the Safety Manager or Manager
- Follow established guidelines and procedures to safely and efficiently operate forklifts and other equipment to move, transport, pick, and stack materials and product
- Conduct daily pre-operation equipment inspections to ensure they are in good working condition. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Stack and store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper handling, transportation, and organization of materials, minimizing damage and loss
- Locate and retrieve items from storage racks or designated locations. Ensure the accuracy of picked items by reviewing the order information.
- Assist with will-call and freight shipments
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Conduct cycle counts of inventory or research parts as directed
- Offload, sort, and palletize inbound freight
- Cross-train and provide training of known processes to help support the growth of self and the business
- Coordinate work with other employees
- Report issues as they arise, including discrepancies or damaged items to the Manager
