PAY RATE: $75.00 - $83.00 per hour

Summary:
-
Assists with the planning, coordination, performance of design, analysis and liaison engineering supporting the development and production of products and services
-
Contributes to planning, developing and coordinating of important engineering projects
-
Provides specialized technical assistance to team members
-
Uses advanced techniques and modified extension of theories to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
-
Determines and develops own approach to solutions within schedule and cost objectives
-
Works under limited supervision; work should only be required. to be reviewed for accuracy and consistency with meeting overall objectives
-
Acts as liaison with representatives outside of the assigned group/area
Required Skills:
-
10+ years of experience working with Landing Gear and various mechanical systems.
-
Full understanding of the design sequence for translating landing gear and mechanical systems.
-
Experience with free-body diagrams and classical stress analysis techniques Hands-on experience with FEMAP a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Excellent computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
-
Educational Requirements Bachelors degree from an accredited institution, with a concentration in a relevant Engineering discipline.

Advanced degree in engineering related field preferred

Airframe Stress Experience should include: static and fatigue analysis of metallic or composite construction in a product development environment, finite element modeling, understanding of certification requirements to FAR Part 25 and EASA CS. CATIA V5, NASTRAN, and PATRAN
