CHOR YFS is looking for Overnight Shift Supervisors at our Germantown Program to manage Youth Counselors, ensuring that stated job responsibilities are carried out and comply with program policies and procedures. Ensures overall safety and security of residents and the building.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains a professional managerial relationship with Youth Counselors, ensuring they fulfill job responsibilities.
- Safe guard the personal safety of residents, staff, and visitors.
- Mentors and directs Youth Counselors on the implementation of reward reward-based behavioral modification system.
- Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) to record resident medications.
- Ensures Youth Counselors utilize EHR to record behaviors, room conditions, visitations, and any applicable service in accordance with company policy before the end of each shift.
- Review all documentation/reports written by Youth Counselors for accuracy and professionalism prior to submission.
- Administers medication to residents in accordance with program policy and procedures (Utilizing EHR to document all administrations).
- Ensures safe evacuation of residents during emergencies and fire drills.
- Problem-solving and reports on programmatic issues at general staff and Supervisor meetings.
- Meets monthly with supervisees and completes supervision notes via server.
- Completes twice annual performance reviews of Youth Counselors.
- Ensure completion of monthly room searches by Youth Counselors.
- Uses assigned staff training curriculum to inform, guide, and demonstrate policies and procedures to newly hired Youth Counselors.
- Creates and assists in scheduling in-house, supervised, and unsupervised passes, in conjunction with the Lead Supervisor and as needed.
- Contacts on-call therapist, when necessary.
- Communicate appropriately with all invested parties via email (to be checked each shift), in-house communicator binders, and team meetings.
- Approves resident outings, ensures all paperwork is complete, and signatures are obtained.
- Record reports (i.e. performance reviews, monthly supervision notes, disciplinary warnings, etc.) in a timely manner.
- Physically restrains residents' passive restraint training in accordance with program policies.
- Attends all required meetings and training per oversight and accreditation standards.
- Performs other job duties as required.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required as well as at least one-year experience working with youth.
Schedule Availability:
- Must be available for all shifts (AM, PM, and O/N).
Certificates and Licenses:
- Valid driver’s license
- DPW medication administration
