Must Reside in the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan AreaStructural Component Systems, Inc. a dynamic, growing 100% employee owned and operated truss and wall panel manufacturer of Fremont, NE is actively seeking an experienced self-motivated full-time Outside Sales Representative to work the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area market.
As a Structural Component System Outside Sales Representative your work is first and foremost about creating and maintaining relationships. This position is Salary + Commission. The sky's the limit! Our commission is structured so that there is no limit to your compensation.

Job Description You will be responsible for finding and completing sales of our full line of building materials and complete lumber packages with local contractors, builders, and area lumber yards. Yes, you will "sell projects," but once a job is sold, you will work with a team of project managers and coordinators to complete the job. We believe in giving you the resources to sell and provide the support system to help you succeed, including a team of commercial estimators and a dedicated sales assistant. Proven sales strategies, commitment follow-through, and heavy communication are all necessary for success.
Requirements
- Five years minimum building materials sales experience
- Knowledge of home building basics
- Open new accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Learn to read blueprints and provide material take off lists
- Ability to work independently
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Attend HBA/builder/company functions
