Outside Sales Representative

Position Summary:
Sell Mathias Die Company products and support services.This role is responsible for contacting and meeting with current and prospective customers by phone, e-mail and face-to-face meetings with the departments objective on increasing sales to;
·contact new company leads to discuss their needs and sell Company products and support services
·contact current customers to discuss their needs and sell additional products and support services
The Outside Sales Representative must be able to manage face-to-face meetings and inbound and outbound phone and e-mail customer contacts to qualify opportunities and convert them to sales.This position requires confident customer communication in discussing their tooling and converting needs with a high level of courtesy and professionalism.
Accountability:
This position reports to the Business Development Manager.
Responsibilities:
·Develop and implement annual sales plan which includes objectives for meeting sales forecast
·Increase revenues through sales calls with potential and existing customers to qualify leads and sell products and support services.
·Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from inquiries, trade shows, online websites and other sources.
·Contact customers to gather information and specifications on new projects.
·Build and maintain customer relationships.
·Document and report out on sales activity.
·Member of sales team to share account information status, track account activities and embrace company sales objectives.
·Responsible for assuring that customer contact information is current and accurate.
·Enter new customer opportunities and update the customers Business Development tasks per Business Development – Task Management Procedure.
·Embrace company ISO quality objectives and ensure processes are followed.
·Refer to and follow ISO Customer Communication Process MP-7.2.3.
·Business Continuity & Development Environment.Keep customer satisfaction as a primary priority; courteous and professional communication at all times
·Perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Qualifications
·Two years associates degree in business or a technical field
·Two years B2B professional sales experience & responsibilities
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·Customer oriented with a focus on supporting customers with their projects
·Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within a customer’s organization
·Ability to read and interpret engineered prints, technical drawings/CAD prints
·Well organized and self-motivated
·Solid computer software knowledge including Microsoft Office
·Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks
·Team player with the ability to work well with all levels of our organization
·Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
