Compensation: $90k-$110k base salary (negotiable)
Location: This position is onsite in Minneapolis, MN. with a 25% travel expectation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize modern selling strategies to identify and acquire new business, building a robust opportunity pipeline.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's product lines through periodicals, trade journals, newsletters, internal sources, and other relevant information sources.
- Gain a deep understanding of customers' business and growth objectives, addressing their needs by aligning value-based solutions with their goals.
- Stay current with industry, product, and market knowledge and trends through seminars, workshops, formal education, training, reading, and self-study.
- Identify prospective customers using various resources, including e-sources, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, publications, websites, and other viable sources for potential sales leads.
- Compile and maintain a database of current and prospective customers through the company's CRM system.
- Travel to solicit orders, share new product information, identify product requirements, and address other needs of current and prospective customers while developing and maintaining long-term relationships.
- Consistently meet and exceed assigned targets.

Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; associates or bachelors degree preferred
- At least 4 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong interest in packaging, equipment, and end-of-line automation
- Solution-oriented, focusing on creating value for customers through innovation
- Proven track record of successful sales achievements with a strong desire to hunt for and win new business and customers
- Assertive in sales actions while maintaining the highest level of integrity
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written
- Technical aptitude with the ability to work in a team environment and communicate directly with customers
- Familiarity with software such as Microsoft Office, accounting, purchasing, manifest, or plant data collection is preferred
- Above-average ability to accurately calculate ratios, percentages, and perform mathematical computations
- Highly motivated, self-starter who works well independently
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
