About the Job
Salary: $75K to $90K plus commission
Commission: $30K to $50K year one
As an Outside Sales Representative you are responsible for generating new client business for landscape maintenance, snow removal and exterior services through prospecting, networking, and referrals. You will also be expected to generate new accounts through the Property and Facility Management industry by prospecting, networking, and cold calling. The Outside Sales Representative may also assist in marketing efforts when needed- i.e. trade shows and social media. The Outside Sales Representative position requires someone to be a Hunter, highly organized, driven, and motivated to WIN!
Responsibilities
• Responsible for driving sales and the relationship development functions.
• Prospect profitable commercial landscape maintenance opportunities.
• Build strong, long-lasting relationships with prospective and new clients.
• Produce timely proposals using in-house estimating software.
• Review specifications and contract documentation for each project.
• Report to sales team on budgeted vs actual sales and projections.
Requirements
• Prior experience with a record of success in a sales environment. History of hunting sales
• Superb professional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to maintain reporting on a weekly basis and attend an in-person sales meeting weekly.
• Must be highly motivated and have excellent time management skills.
• Outstanding telephone, presentation, time management, and computer skills
• Landscape Experience a plus, but not required.
