Summary of Position:
The Outside Sales Representative sells products or services, at defined monthly goals, that ensure partner and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Travel within given territory to meet with customers and prospects including cold calls.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through on-going communication and relationship management.
- Prospecting required to grow territory as well as increase sales and market share.
- Develop relationships with prospects and existing customers daily to gain repeat business.
- Maintain reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, etc. through emails, phone calls and CRM.
- Independently negotiate pricing on products to maximize gross profit as defined by customer, product, and availability.
- Manage inventory of contract customers and address any customer issues.
Additional Duties:
- Support Inside Sales as needed.
- Work 1 day per week in local office.
- As assigned by management.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree desired, comparable experience will be considered
- 2+ years in Outside Sales preferred
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel skills required
- Ability to work in a fast- paced environment
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment
