Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and driving sales growth within the glass fabrication industry. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, knowledgeable about glass products, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and target prospective clients, including contractors, architects, glaziers, and distributors, to generate new business opportunities.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the companys glass fabrication products, including tempered, laminated, insulated, and decorative glass, and provide technical guidance to clients.
- Sales Strategy: Create and execute effective sales strategies to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Territory Management: Manage a defined sales territory by planning and executing regular client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Quoting & Negotiation: Prepare accurate quotes and proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals effectively.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including production, customer service, and logistics, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed records of sales activities and provide regular updates on sales performance and forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the glass fabrication industry.
- Strong understanding of glass products, fabrication processes, and industry applications.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Education:
- Marketing, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
