Position: Outside Sales Representative
Location: USA; Experience: 4 years
ProductSpace Solutions Inc (https://www.productspace.com) has immediate openings for consultative
sales professionals with experience selling CAD/CAM or PLM(Product Lifecycle Management) or
similar Technology based solutions. Experience with Siemens (https://www.sw.siemens.com) software
tools or similar will be desired but not required. ProductSpace specializes in providing CAD/CAM/PLM
and digital manufacturing and automation solutions to the manufacturers across a range of industries.
Primary Responsibilities
? Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from
newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other
sources.
? Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit
orders, or talks with customers on sales floor or by phone; Prepares reports of business
transactions and keeps expense accounts.
? Attends trade shows or other business meetings; Occasional overnight travel
? Demonstrates software products & emphasizes salable features.
? Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
? Works with inside sales representative(s) and/or marketing and/or services resource(s) to
keep account activities and literature up to date.
? Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into company’s
database (Salesforce); Develops/maintains relationships with purchasing/business contacts.
? Investigates and resolves customer problems related to products sold;
? Coordinates customer training related to products sold
Core Competencies
? Ability to make executive contacts
? Exceptional interpersonal, critical thinking and oral/written communication skills
? 4 years of industry experience relevant to the job description
? A demonstrable record of selling products (preferably software) to clients
? Well organized and Great Time Management skills
? Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office XLS and PPT
? The ability to understand quickly – and communicate clearly about – PLM solutions to complex
business problems
? High energy and a self-starter attitude with a predisposition to discovering new methods of
achieving target goals
? A familiarity with product design, product development, and manufacturing is desired,
particularly as related to technology solutions that cross functional areas
