Outside Sales Representative - Talnt

About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers through phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Identify and establish contact with potential customers to expand market reach.
- Follow up on potential sales leads and generate growth in the radiation shielding market and related product offerings.
- Attend and coordinate industry trade shows to identify potential leads and create meaningful contact with existing customers.
- Manage timely administration of orders to ensure effective communication and processing of customer orders, acknowledgments, and lead times.
- Dedicate a minimum of 50% of weekly activities to meeting customers in person to prospect, identify needs, and create sales opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelors degree.
- Minimum two (2) years sales experience, preferably in outside sales.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher).
- Ability to multi-task and self-manage.
- Good mathematical skills and strong attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required for the role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in distribution sales or technical sales.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, commodity purchasing, and contract negotiation.
- Background in a manufacturing environment.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, or sit for approximately eight (8) hours per day and to drive or travel by air as needed.
