We are seeking a motivated, dynamic, and driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to engage directly with our customers and significantly contribute to our market growth. The ideal candidate will be a "hunter" with a go-getter attitude, who thrives on the challenge of prospecting and cold calling to generate new leads and secure new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a specified sales territory to increase market share and drive sales growth.
- Identify and qualify potential leads through various methods, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and retention while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals and achieve individual sales targets.
- Provide accurate and timely reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitors, using this information to adjust sales strategies as necessary.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to network, promote our products, and generate leads.
- Work closely with the customer service and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an outside sales role, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record in territory management, territory sales, and account management.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect and generate leads, with a "hunter" mentality.
- Excellent cold calling skills, with a fearless approach to securing new business.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a results-driven approach.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster long-term relationships with customers.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
