Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned territory.
- Identify potential customers and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships with current and potential customers to promote business growth.
- Understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions to meet their requirements.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within the scheduled timeline.
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments to ensure the achievement of company objectives.
- Continuously improve through feedback, research, and staying updated with the latest industry trends.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to expand your network and increase visibility of our company.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations tailored to the audience needs.
- Provide regular sales reports to management, including sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven work experience as an Outside Sales Representative in the manufacturing industry.
- Solid experience in B2B sales, territory management, and account management.
- Proven track record of successful sales, with a focus on customer acquisition and customer relationship management.
- Previous experience or training in industrial wholesale distribution in the pipe, valve, and fitting industry is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas.
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with CRM practices would be a plus.
- Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proven track record in meeting sales targets.
- Strong analytical skills to identify market trends and sales opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics or related field would be a plus.
