WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The Sales Manager role at our resort focuses on driving group and F&B revenue by securing corporate groups and programs. This position offers a blend of remote work flexibility and on-site responsibilities. We seek a highly organized, self-motivated individual with meticulous attention to detail. Building strong corporate relationships and generating new business opportunities are key aspects of this role, working closely with various departments to ensure exceptional client experiences.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- Actively prospect and qualify new business within the corporate market.
- Conduct site inspections and off-site presentations for potential clients.
- Respond promptly to all inquiries.
- Meet sales goals and participate in relevant networking events.
- Negotiate meeting space, catering, and hotel services within set guidelines.
- Create necessary sales contracts and planning documents, ensuring clear communication with internal departments.
- Follow up with clients post-event to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with accounting for proper billing procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of activities in Salesforce or Delphi.
- Travel as needed for in-person client meetings.
- Embrace remote work with on-site requirements as directed by management.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM ALL TEAM MEMBERS:
- Prioritize guest needs and contribute to a positive guest experience.
- Demonstrate knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and respond accurately to guest inquiries.
- Support team efforts and adhere to departmental policies and standards.
- Understand and apply emergency procedures when necessary.
- Report incidents promptly and attend required meetings and training sessions.
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in hospitality or food and beverage.
- High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and special events.
JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Proficiency in hotel/resort banquet and rooms sales processes.
- Experience with Salesforce/Delphi is essential.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Excellent time management and interpersonal abilities.
- Leadership qualities and professional appearance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in basic arithmetic and relevant software systems.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
- Verbal communication, hearing requirements, keyboarding, near visual acuity, and peripheral vision are essential for the role.
- The work environment includes moderate noise levels and indoor/office settings.
